Questions
What happens when the trial ends?
NotchPulse simply becomes NotchPulse Free. There’s no charge — we never asked for a card — and nothing is deleted: your settings, history and connected integrations stay where they are, and Pro features pick up again if you buy Pro later.
Is there a subscription?
No. NotchPulse Pro Lifetime is a single payment, and there are no monthly or yearly plans. If we ever offer an optional cloud add-on, Pro Lifetime will never depend on it.
How does the founder’s price work?
The first 500 paying customers get Pro Lifetime for $29. After that, the price is $39. The count on this page comes straight from our license server and only includes completed purchases — refunded purchases don’t count. If you start checkout while founder places remain, you keep the founder’s price. Your price never changes after you buy.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If NotchPulse isn’t right for you, request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@notchpulse.app. You don’t need to give a reason. The refund goes back through Stripe to your original payment method.
What happens after a refund?
Your Macs go back to NotchPulse Free the next time they check in. No data is deleted — not on your Mac, and not by us beyond our normal retention rules.
Can I move my license to a new Mac?
Yes. Pro covers up to 3 personal Macs at a time. To move to a new one, deactivate an old Mac in Settings → License → Deactivate this Mac — or, if it’s lost or erased, free the slot from your account.
Do Free users get security updates?
Yes. Security updates reach everyone, and privacy and security features are never paid features.
What does “lifetime” mean?
Once activated, Pro keeps working on that Mac — offline too, with no periodic check-ins and no expiry. Updates for NotchPulse 1.x are included; we’ll publish the exact update policy before launch. See how licensing works.
Which Macs are supported?
Any Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. On a MacBook with a notch, NotchPulse lives around it; on other Macs and external displays, it appears as a floating island.
Is NotchPulse on the Mac App Store?
No. NotchPulse is sold directly from this website and is signed and notarized by Apple’s notarization service. That lets it offer the local API, CLI and agent hooks that the App Store sandbox doesn’t allow.
What happens when I click Get NotchPulse Pro?
You’ll be taken to Stripe’s secure checkout; we never see your card details. After Stripe confirms your payment, we email your license key. Reaching the “thank you” page alone doesn’t confirm a payment — the email does.
