Your revenue, live — and private.

Founder mode connects your own Stripe account. A few coins when a payment lands, a clear flag when one fails, and today’s revenue whenever you want it. Hidden automatically while you present.

Coming in v1 Included with NotchPulse Pro

What you’ll see

  • New payments with a coin reaction, and today’s and this month’s total.
  • Refunds, failed payments (marked important), new subscribers and cancellations.
  • Revenue today and this month — gross, in your local calendar day, summed per currency with no guessed exchange rates.
  • MRR only when every subscription can be normalized exactly. With metered or usage-based pricing we show “MRR unavailable” instead of a wrong number.
  • Test-mode keys work and are labeled TEST.

How it connects

  • A Stripe restricted key with read-only permissions that you create in your Stripe Dashboard. Settings lists exactly which permissions to grant.
  • Full secret keys are refused, with an explanation.
  • The key lives only in your Keychain. Your Mac asks Stripe for new events directly — every minute while you’re in the Founder workspace or just after a payment, every five minutes otherwise.

What NotchPulse never uploads

  • Payment or customer data to NotchPulse servers — our backend is never involved.
  • Customer names and emails — NotchPulse doesn’t display them.
  • Your key, which never leaves your Keychain except to call Stripe.

What it can’t see

  • Instant updates — without webhooks, expect up to a minute.
  • Currency conversion. Other currencies appear alongside your primary one.
  • MRR for metered or usage-based prices, and Stripe’s own dashboard figures may differ slightly from ours; Settings explains exactly how we calculate.
Two different Stripe accounts. Founder mode reads your Stripe account. Separately, NotchPulse itself uses Stripe Checkout to sell licenses. The two never touch.

Stripe is a trademark of its owner. NotchPulse works with Stripe through its public interfaces and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by its maker.

Launching soon for macOS 14 and later.
